Why is STEM Important?

STEM empowers students to adapt to an increasingly changing technological world. Science, Technology, Engineering and Math is found all around us and impacts our daily lives. It encourages our creativity, critical thinking, communication, problem solving and digital literacy. Careers in STEM goes beyond the hospital and the classroom. With a STEM education you could build your own toys and explore the world around you. Maybe one day you will be the next person to build a spaceship.

STEM Around Us

Take a look around, do you see the buildings, cars, food and toys? These were all once just someone’s imagination or curiosity and now they make up the world around us. In everything we touch, see, smell, hear, feel there was some science, technology, engineering or math involved. You too can be to inventors and creators and here at CYDI we will create that environment for you so join our community and get ready to explore.
